John Knight has worked with publishers, agents, bookstores, and authors across the country. Starting in San Francisco, he assisted Dave Eggers at McSweeney’s and founded the long-form journalism magazine Once. He then moved to the New York editorial department of Farrar, Straus and Giroux where he acquired, edited, and worked on bestselling and award-winning novels, essay collections, biographies, memoirs, and nonfiction. His writing has been published in The New York Times, Paris Review Daily, New York Magazine, Nautilus, Music + Literature, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. He holds a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from The Graduate Center at CUNY.
